Research Interest

The goal of our research is to identify the fundamental mechanisms that govern neuronal cell death and connectivity of neural circuits in mammalian brain development and disease and to determine how these mechanisms are deregulated in neurological diseases. In addition, we are now focused on the elucidation of the mechanisms regulating the morphogenesis of axons, dendrites, and synapses and CNS axon regeneration after injury.
